Loretta Devine is a beautiful, bold, and curvaceous woman who enjoys using LifeCell.
Devine was born August 21, 1949 in Houston, Texas. She was on the pep squad and she loved performing in talent shows.
She proudly graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Drama and Brandeis University in 1976 with a MFA in Theater.
She was very familiar with Broadway musicals. She is best known for her role in the dramatic musical Dreamgirls. Devine played the role of Lorrel Robinson. The Broadway musical won six Tony awards.
She also worked with the beautiful and incredibly talented Whitney Houston in the film Waiting to Exhale.
She landed small roles in many other movies. She made a small appearance in the movie Crash, which won 2005 Academy Awards Best Picture. She appeared in the movie This Christmas, with the famous R&B singer Chris Brown.
Devine married LaVar Green and they had their first child, Jefferson Green. Sadly, the couple seperated and divorced in 2002. The two have not spoken since 2004.
Devine suffered the loss of her father, James Devine. He was 84 when he passed away.
Her son blessed her with a grandson in 2006, and he was named James O’Neil Green, after Devine’s father and mother.
Devine greatly enjoys her family life, and devotes every second she has to them.
